For those of you who can't join us at the Southbank Institute of Technology, South Brisbane for the third annual MS Queensland Conference and AGM, we're now offering LIVE streaming from the conference online on the day. This year’s program features guest speakers Dr Ken Pakenham from the University of Queensland and Valmae Rose from Future by Design and an exciting new panel discussion on ‘MS emerging treatments – hope versus risk’. You can come in and out of the online streaming at times that suit you.

  1. Gary Allen, Senior Policy Officer, Office for Research, Griffith University and person with MS.
  2. Assoc Prof Megan Munsie, Head - Education, Ethics, Law & Community Awareness Unit, Stem Cells Australia, University of Melbourne.
  3. Dr Simon Broadley, Dean and Head of the School of Medicine, Griffith University Gold Coast and Senior Staff Specialist in Neurology, Gold Coast Hospital.

The Southbank Institute of Technology is a fully accessible venue with catering provided suited to dietary needs. Parking and drop off access is via Colchester Street and public transport via train and bus is located close by. If you have any problems accessing the venue on the day please call us on 0423 524 503.
 
ARE YOU A PERSON WITH MS?

Please note: registering as a client with us and registering as a member of MS Queensland are not the same thing.

WHAT IS A CLIENT?

By completing the client registration form, you will be able to stay informed about MS Queensland's key activities, be connected with our Regional Service Coordinators and given access to our range of services. Proof of diagnosis is required, for example a letter from your neurologist, but there is no cost to register as a client with us.

To be eligible for any of our services, also becoming a member with us is not required.

WHAT IS A MEMBER?

Completing the membership form allows you, your family and friends to support MS Queensland's work in the community and raise awareness of multiple sclerosis. A membership fee of just $33 per year is payable to cover administration and distribution costs to receive our quarterley magazine MS Life.

Anyone can become a member, whether you have MS or not. All members are entitled to give their input at the Annual General Meeting and receive a copy of our quarterly MS Life magazine.

Life membership is also available for just a one off payment of $330 - please contact us for details.
