About the session

This research briefing was proudly hosted by MS Queensland with special presentations from MS Australia’s Dr Julia Morahan, Head of Research, and Dr Hamish Campbell, Deputy Head of Research.

The presentation focusses on the role Australia has played in advancing MS research nationally and internationally. The latest MS research is centred on helping people living with MS having the best possible outcomes right now. In this research briefing, MS Australia’s research team presented where they have come from and the future research strategy for MS Australia, including how MS Australia funds and facilitates research and some Australian success stories.

How MS Webinars Work

Watching MS Webinars

You’ll register online for a webinar, be sent a confirmation and reminder email in the lead up to the webinar, and when the webinar day arrives, be asked to log on to enjoy the webinar from the comfort of your own home. Remember you’ll need to register each time you want to listen in to a webinar, as the webinar logins are unique.

During the webinar you’ll be able to ask questions of our facilitator, view the presentation and notes they are referring to and even go back to re-watch a webinar at a later stage when it suits you.

Protecting your privacy

To register for an MS webinar, you will need to provide a valid email address. Once you have completed the online registration process, we will have a record of your email which will not be shared with any other party. If you wish to remain anonymous, please set a ‘made up’ username e.g. “Bugs Bunny” along with your valid email address.

Can I watch it later?

All of our webinars will be available to watch anytime on-demand after the recording, simply register for the webinar, and you will receive a link to watch the recording of the live webinar.
