Unprecedented times require an unprecedented response. And as coronavirus grips our nation, that’s what we hope to receive from our generous community. 

Even before the pandemic struck, our crucial MS Advisor team was already under severe pressure from a year-on-year increase in demand. More than 200 people contacted our MS Advisor last year, desperate for the ongoing emotional and practical help they could find nowhere else. 

 But those numbers pale into insignificance compared to what we are seeing right now, as vulnerable people like Amy struggle for the care they need to see them through these challenging times. 

Amy is a mum of three who was already isolated in her home long before the rest of us. She suffered a loss of confidence after her multiple sclerosis was initially misdiagnosed as a mental health issue. But with the help of her MS Advisor, she was well on the road to recovery—until with cruel timing the pandemic struck. 

Like so many vulnerable people who are coping with both coronavirus and multiple sclerosis, Amy will depend on her MS Advisor to help her make it through what lies ahead.
