In Home Care

In Home Care or Activities of Daily Living (ADL) are a series of important activities necessary for independently living at home, including but not limited to the following:

  • Meal preparation
  • Dignified personal care
  • Healthy sleep hygiene
  • Toileting
  • Light cleaning tasks

Care in the Community

Engaging in social and recreational activities is essential for achieving independence, fostering social connections, and enhancing overall well-being. Our support services can help you with, but are not limited to:

  • Participating in social and community activities
  • Visiting friends and family
  • Joining workshops to learn new skills
  • Enjoying meditation and yoga classes

Frequently asked questions

How can my support worker and I get to places in the community?

There are flexible options when arranging transport with your support worker. Our friendly intake team will explain all options of the transport and you can decide the best option for you.

What happens if I have less than 20 hours funding? 

Currently this service is only for people with over 20 hours a week of funding available. Please chat with our intake team for more information.

What is the shortest shift I can have a support worker for?

Currently the minimum shift is a four-hour shift.

What is involved with accessing this service?

The intake team must be able to meet face to face for an environmental risk assessment in your home.

What forms are funding are required for this service?

You may be able to use National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) or National Injury Insurance Scheme, Queensland (NIISQ) Funding.

What does light cleaning include?

We have a complete list of light duties. Please chat with our intake team for more information.

What do I need to supply for light cleaning support?

The Participant must provide all cleaning supplies.
