More Than a Home

For Shalini, being a support worker is about more than completing daily tasks – it’s about building a meaningful connection. She supports Lucy, a resident in our Springfield Specialist Disability Accommodation, both at home and out in the community.

In this video, Shalini shares what it’s like to help Lucy live independently, feel confident, and participate in everyday life. She reflects on the positive impact their relationship has had on both of them, showing how support, trust, and connection can turn a place into more than a home.
